Having been asked to redesign a functional object in an innovative manner, I felt it the perfect opportunity to install some irony and wit into my work.  I decided to construct a vase, that’s usually FOR flowers, OUT of flowers.  Sourcing around 8 bouquets of yellow, paper roses, usually used for flower arrangements, and clipping them away from the leaves, I used yellow and green coloured glue to stick them together systematically.  Not 100% functional, as it obviously can’t hold water, my vase still has its purposes, like holding other artificial flowers, and candles too.
